“Mike is an extremely versatile guitarist - at home playing and teaching jazz, bluegrass, country and more. He's clearly got a love for his craft, as well as an enthusiasm for seeing progress in others. This makes taking lessons from Mike a joy and a rewarding experience.” - Gregg Hobbs
A true classic arranged for fingerstyle guitar. This is very much in the style of the great thumb-pickers Elizabeth Cotten, Chet Atkins, and Merle Travis. The main idea is that you hold down the chord shapes and use your other fingers (mostly your free pinky) to play the melody as well. You'll get it! The thumb is supposed to be driving the bus, let it!
